Autopsy Of The Nike Dunk Pro SB

Originally introduced in 1985 the Nike Dunk has become a staple of the sneaker community with much of it’s notoriety and acceptance coming in 2002 when Nike SB modified it for skateboarders by adding a padded tongue and a Nike Zoom Air-sole unit into the heel of the shoe. Aside from those few small changes the shoe has remained true to it’s original however with the ten year anniversary of Nike SB fast approaching, the brand looked to give the shoe a makeover and make it even better by providing it with better gripping outsole, more board feel via better cushioning, and improving the fit while eliminating pressure points. The Nike Pro SB will be made available in January 2011 and for more information on the Dunk Pro SB visit Nikeskateboarding.com starting next month. Take a look at the preview video of the new Dunk Pro SB after the jump.
