“As a member of Clipse and The Re-Up Gang, Pusha T already has classic mixtapes and albums under his belt. But once he went solo and signed with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint, the lingering question was if he could bring the sophisticated street aesthetic that he’s championed as part of a larger unit to his solo sets. A few weeks ago, when Push set the Internet on fire after dropping his first solo song ever—the excellent Hit-Boy produced banger “My God”—those questions were put to bed. “My God” is the first single to Pusha’s upcoming mixtape, Fear of God, which will lead up to his solo album. Complex had the privilege of listening to Push’s mixtape and brings you an exclusive track-by-track breakdown. With a blend of original production and borrowed beats, and freestyles and full songs, topped off with plenty of shit talking, Pusha’s ready to make it on his own. EGHCK!”

National Geographic sent over these incredible photos, as they just wrapped up creating a real-life version of Pixar's animated hit film Up. It's pretty amazing what human beings are capable of...
Yesterday morning, March 5 at dawn, National Geographic Channel and a team of scientists, engineers, and two world-class balloon pilots successfully launched a 16' X 16' house 18' tall with 300 8' colored weather balloons from a private airfield east of Los Angeles, and set a new world record for the largest balloon cluster flight ever attempted. There are conversions and there are conversions done by BRABUS, who specialized in pushing the performance envelope on Mercedes and its related cousins. At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, currently on going in Switzerland, the tuning specialist took out its BRABUS 700 Biturbo for a spin. While the BRABUS 700 Biturbo is really a Mercedes AMG SLS, the gull-wing V8 supercar made by the Tri-Star company. Its really a new car underneath. On the performance front, BRABUS added 2 turbochargers to the already powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine. For optimal efficiency, BRABUS designed a left turning turbo for the left side of the massive V8 instead of the usual right-turning version, thus increase the air flow to both turbos. The original output of 563 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque is now at 700 horsepower and 626 pound-feet of torque. Customized interior, trunk, and titanium exhausts all equate to further weight reduction. Now the car clocks 0-62 mph at only 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 213 mph. The fast just got faster.

Nike SB has definitely identified a favorite pastime of some of its wearers by naming models of dunks after various kinds of alcohol. While they wouldn’t officially link the sport of skateboarding with imbibing beer or, in this case, whiskey, there are some famous models that have made that connection–the Miller High Lifes, the Tecates, the New Castle Browns, and of course the Heinekens. For this model, meant to evoke John Jameson’s legendary spirit, the upper is a mix of tumbled leather in cream and a thick suede green. The deep burgandy swoosh matches the heel tab and fat tongue logo on this remodeled version of the skate and hoops classic from Nike SB. These, along with other March releases, are available at retailers like P-Rod’s Primitive.

It’s been a long time coming, but Pusha T’s G.O.O.D Music debut mixtape Fear of God has eventually received its official release date. Complex reports that the much-anticipated piece will see the day of light on March 21. Fear of God is set to contain production from Kanye West, Nottz, Swizz Beatz and Pusha rhyming over some throwback instrumentals. The VA rapper also gives an explanation for the slight delay.
“I’m just waiting on a couple features before I let it go. ‘My God’ is definitely going to be on Fear Of God. As you can see with ‘My God,’ it’s that sophisticated street hip-hop that people have come to know me for.” – Pusha T

Here comes the official video clip for Weezy’s new single “6’7′” featuring Cory Gunz. Directed by Hype Williams, the visual takes the literal route besides a few Inception references. Definitely a nice appetizer for Wayne’s upcoming Tha Carter IV. Watch it above!
It appears that the release of Lasers is not likely to improve the complicated relationship between Lupe Fiasco and Atlantic Records. According to the Chicago Sun Times, label executives intended to order the rapper to write less politically motivated lyrics. Read an excerpt below.
“I was specifically told” — Fiasco chuckled — “‘Don’t rap too deep on this record.’” He laughed some more. “That was a specific order from the top. ‘You’re rapping too fast or too slow, or it’s too complex.’ …
There are consequences and combat that comes from that process and the eventual compromise. With me, though, I’m not writing about someone else. I’m writing about me. This is my life. It’s very personal for me. So for somebody to kind of put their fingers in that and play with that, it becomes more damaging.”
“I am a hostage,” Fiasco said. “I gave them what they wanted. If I didn’t, at the end of the day the album wasn’t coming out.”
In an issued statement, however, Atlantic Records claims that they “fully support Lupe and the release of Lasers.”
During an interview with radio station Hot 97, Lupe revealed that he already has plans for his future – without a major label backing him:
“Hopefully I’ll be out of my traditional record deal, the record deal I’m in right now. Probably living in Africa somewhere, making rock music.
I would rather be independent, I would take that. Independent comes with its own set of consequences, so that takes preparation. There’s a lot of things you’re going to lose taking that route.”

Designer Steve Kuhl fulfills every boy's fantasy with this insanely cool pirate ship bedroom. The six-year-old occupant from Minnesota chose between a space ship, race car, castle, and pirate ship. Most of us would probably agree, he made an excellent decision. The main feature of the room is the incredible floating pirate ship. Kuhl used 2x12 ribs to construct the hull of the ship, covering them with layers of 1/2 inch plywood to act as the planking. A bomb-proof blend of plaster and epoxy with integrated coloring was used simulate an old ship's hull.
Maximilian Busser and Friends have unveiled a new timepiece built upon the HM3 machine, the MB&F Rebel Watch. Why is this watch rebellious, you ask? The “r” in rebel stands for right hand, the “b” for black case. This isn’t your standard watch, it is designed to be worn on the right, leaving your left hand free to firmly give the middle finger to the establishment.

True that his public persona has him as the master of nightlife and rave parties around the world. But to those who knows him personally, DJ Clark Kent is first, a family man, second, a friend, and finally, a DJ, in that order. Not surprising then to find Brooklyn’s Own presiding over the design station at Nike Stadium NYC, creating an one-of-the-kind Destroyer Jacket for his biggest fan, his son Antonio. See Clark explained the significances of each patch and embroidery, from the numerals 99, to the “BK All Day” call sign, on the video below. Enjoy!

Today we had a chance to visit the opening of the Chanel Pop-Up shop at colette. On display were an assortment of classic Chanel products, such as quilted bags, leather gloves and various apparel. Guests were treated to cupcakes, and artist Kevin Lyons, who recent held an exhibition at the shop, was on hand customizing bags and adding Chanel influenced imagery to the space. Overall an impressive event.
Chanel was without a doubt the one brand to make the use of ceramic popular a few years ago, when introducing the J12 watch. In the mean time the black and white ceramic versions of the watch have been a huge success and in time for Basel World the brand is about to introduce a very interesting new version of the watch – the J12 Ceramic Titanium. More masculine in looks, the watch comes in a steel grey colorway, with all parts being made of ceramic and titanium.

With the Geneva Auto Show in full effect, super car maker Lamborghini is presenting its new Aventador LP700-4. Next to a 691 horsepower V12 engine, the car sports a carbon fibre passenger cell, and comes with an overall edgy new look. The Lamborghini is one of the first true 21st century super cars in our opinion, at least from the design perspective. The rear lights, side-panels and especially the back turned out simply beautiful, reminding a little bit of the Diablo and Countach. Of course all of this does not come cheap – the Lamborghini Aventador is expected to go for around 370′000 USD. Many more images of the super car follow after the jump

For most fashion lovers, Fendi bags and furs are always high on the covet list. For Autumn, the flat-front remains the bag silhouette du jour, while furs take on the relaxed appearance of a robe one might throw on while entertaining good friends. It’s an equation that’s turned on its head by the fur itself which is anything but laid back, but rather bold and very rock ‘n’ roll. More on the next page.
The longer an original Air Jordan goes without a retro, the more desirable it becomes. In the case of the Air Jordan VII (7) Retro in the Bordeaux colorway, it’s been 19 years since they saw the light of day and sneaker fans have been eagerly waiting ever since. The reasons are varied, as they have a striking black and graphite upper punctuated by Bordeaux hints on the heel tab and Jumpman on the collar. With a multicolored tongue indicative of the era’s more aggressive fashion tendencies, this Air Jordan VII retro model will release to long lines in April, but if you can’t wait that long, get to KicksCrew now to see if they have any sizes left for pre-sale and watch the heads snap as you wear a crisp pair of shoes that hasn’t seen the light of day in almost two decades.
Welcome to G.O.A.T., the Government Owned Alien Territory, so explained Queen of Pop, Lady Gaga, during the opening of “Born This Way”. From designer John Galliano’s racist rants, unrest in the Middle East, to the upcoming Geneva Auto Show, during what could be the most news filled week of 2011, Gaga unleashed her meditative manifesto to the world with “Born This Way” music video this morning. A touch of Sci-Fi, the stylish set was done by Nicola Formichetti, currently Creative Director of Mugler, with choreography by Laurieann Gibson, another long time collaborator. All documented on the darkly lit studio of Nick Knight, the famed director from SHOWstudio. Check out the video after the click
In the stodgy club of “cars cost more than some nations’ GDP”, the Koenigsegg Agera certainly stands out. In addition to it being from the socially conscious Sweden (at least usually), the car recently took home Top Gear’s Hyper Car of the Year Award, along with a Medusa-like bust of show host Jeremy Clarkson. Now comes another variant, the Koenigsegg Agera R. To debut on the floors of Geneva Auto Show tomorrow, the 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 generates 1,115 horsepower, 885 lb-ft torque on biofuels (very Swedish like), or 940 horsepower, 811 lb-ft torque on regular gasoline. Customized for an avid skier, the model on display will feature a one of the kind carbon fiber roof case by Thule for skis stowaway, swappable with a regular carbon fiber roof unit. It turns out the proud owner is also a Speed Racer fan and requested the car maker to paint his new purchase in the color scheme of the Mach 5. Go Speed Racer Go!

Affable both on stage and on the set of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, it took some time for ?uestlove, drummer for The Roots, to find the time draw up a follow-up to his ?uestlove x 1World x Nike Air Force 1 – Air Questo. 3 years to be exact. That drought will be over this week as the follow-up to Air Questo is launch at select Nike retailers. Not 1 but 3 worthy successors, the Questlove x Nike Dunk High Pack consist of 3 separate Dunk designs, including the Dunk High Strap with an oversized forefoot strap that doubles as wrap as well. Subtle in comparison, the 2 others, designated as Dunk High Bz, still include ?uestove’s likeness in form of an embossment near the heel. All three are set to launch this Friday, March 4th, at select Nike Sportswear retailers such as CONCEPTS of Boston.
