Burberry Prorsum set a worldwide trend this season with their take on the classic aviator jacket making it the seasons “if you have to own just one piece of key clothing it’s this.” With cheaper look-a-like versions (Burberrys at $2,995) popping up in all High Street stores you know you have hit the trendsetting nail on the head. With their Spring 2011 ready-to-wear collection they have brought the classic motorcycle jacket out from it’s dusty closet, breathing life back into the iconic garment, made infamous by the likes of James Dean and Marlon Brando by teaming it up with classic, feminine shapes.
