Bamboocycles – UH 02 Sustainable Bicycle

A toast to all cyclists and bicycle road warriors– thank you for helping to keep the CO2 emissions low, and reducing, air, sound and light pollution. But, what if we took it a step further, and kicked it up a notch with a sustainable bicycle that doesn’t harm the environment when produced? Hear the proposal of 24 year-old Mexican industrial designer, Diego Cárdenas, who has decided to replace the usual carbon fiber or stainless steel bicycle frame with an equally sturdy one– bamboo. All Bamboocycles are crafted from sustainably harvested from Veracruz, Mexico, and are just a lightweight and durable as ye old regular stainless steel bikes. Don’t worry, no pandas were harmed in the production of these rides either.
