Gravis skater Dylan Rieder recently created this boot as part of the Gravis Lifestyle Collection for Spring 2011. More than a little unconventional for a skater-designed shoe, the boot is relatively formal and seems to have drawn inspiration from more progressive fashions. Apparently the boots can be worn for skating and feel comfortable whilst riding, although the collection will feature a selection of more skate-centric offerings to compliment this design. Reinforced with a rubber outsole and extra panels for both the toe and heel, the boot is finished with a side-zip which should grasp the foot snugly. Whilst controversy is bound to follow, the boot demonstrates a unique and interesting move if nothing else. Retail is set at $130 USD, with a release expected in February of 2011.
