British duffle coat manufacturer Gloverall has been established 60 years ago and have been leading the fashion and military duffle coat styles and COMME des GARÇONS Junya Watanabe Man have decided to team up with Gloverall for an avant garde collaboration. Tradition meets cutting edge, as Junya Watanabe does what he does best by reconstructing the classic duffle coat. The basic coat has been customized using corduroy parts on the neck reinforcement and pocket flap covers. Also the materials on the sleeves are switched up with original lighter navy fabrics. Sides of the coat is cut up deeply, restyled to look like a button down shirt which lightens up the rear view.
