Nike SB – June 2010 – Sneaker Release

Summer is not just a time for fun in the sun, but it is also the time when one gears up for the best releases– summer blockbusters, apparel, and of course, sneakers. For Nike SB’s June 2010 sneaker release, some highly coveted models will finally be hitting stores and the insatiable sneaker pot (which should be found somewhere between your heart and your stomach). For instance, the bright yellow Omar Salazaar signature model– also one of the coolest skate shoes around that is extra lightweight and supportive with Nike Flywire technology, and the cool grey Nike Zoom Paul Rodriguez 3 with fresh green accents that will be perfect for summer.

Aside from the signature models (also worth mentioning is the Nike Zoom Paul Rodriguez 2.5 which shares a colorway similar to Parra’s collaboration with Nike from before), the Nike SB classics such as the Classic High, Dunk Hi, Dunk Low and Blazer SB have all gotten a palette make over. Orange and black turns out to be quite a key palette for June even though it is neither fall nor Halloween, and another cool pair to note is the Eric Koston Dunk Low Premium SB in a Thailand inspired colorway of blue, red and opulent gold.

Check out your nearest Nike SB dealer for some sweet kicks this summer, be it a versatile grey addition or a sunshine yellow pair to fulfill all your skating whims.

Nike Air Max 24-7 “Violet Pop”

The Air Max 2009 made a huge splash when it was introduced to the market, with Air Max aficionados calling the shoes one of the most comfortable Air Max’s of all time. That statement still holds true to some, however, the newer Air Max 24-7 is looking to grab the spotlight and grab the title as the greatest Air Max ever.
After releasing two version for the guys, one taking on the color scheme from the Air Max 95 “Neon” and the other using that from the Air Max 95 “Chilli”, Nike’s following up with it’s first Air Max 24-7 for the women. And from the looks of it, we’re sure the guys are gonna be sweatin’ these. The base starts off with a nice gradient effect on the layered paneling, starting in black on the midfoot and fading to a light grey (almost silver) as it’s sloops down the upper. Giving the sneakers their name are vivid violet pop accents on the full-length air unit, Swoosh and lace loops.
If I could convert a mens 13 into a womens size I’d be all over these, but unfortunately for me it’s just not possible due to the limited size run. If your a guy with smaller feet though and you can covert over, don’t be afraid to do so cause these are dope. Ladies, lucky for you no conversion is need here since these have been produced with you in mind. If you’re at all interested, hit up Wish now to get a pair while supplies last or scoop a pair on eBay.

Nike Write The Future – Rooney & Federer Play Table Tennis | Video

It isn’t foolhardy belief, but common sense that a tennis player should be more apt at table tennis than a soccer player. However, from the latest video to drop from Nike’s extremely well-received and raved about “Write The Future” campaign, the sportswear giant believes the otherwise can happen. Yes, when English football hero Wayne Rooney is pitched against tennis star Roger Federer, Rooney could give Federer a pointer or two. And who knew, that Federer wanted to play doubles with Wayne Rooney and seems to have a little bit of a man crush on the football player. Indeed, anything is possible for the future
