Nike SB Dunk High Pro “Mayer Hawthorne”

Adding to their list of celebrity clientele which includes the likes of Jay-Z, Memphis Bleek, Cam’Ron, Pharrell Williams and more, the JGoods Custom Sneaker Company presents us with their latest creation, a pair of Nike SB Dunk High’s produced exclusively for Mayer Hawthorne.

Mayer Hawthorne, a Michigan native who can do, and does do, just about anything in the music industry, reached out to JGoods to have Jon, the designer and owner of JGoods, create a pair of custom Dunks which displayed his impeccable retro styling consisting of classic suits mixed with vintage eyewear. For the base model JGoods selected a Nike SB Dunk High Pro Creed in a white, khaki and light stone colorway. Color changes were made to the Swoosh and toe box and an intricate plaid pattern in earth tones was worked onto the heel and wing panels. And just so there isn’t any confusion as to who these were made for, the Mayer Hawthorne logo was applied to the shoe’s rear quarter. Ensuring they went the extra step for their high-profile client, JGoods wrapped things up with a custom tweed box with a viewing window and Mayer Hawthorn’s logo screened on the top. As always, the shoes were hand-painted by JGoods himself and will never be reproduced again.
