Andre 3000 has been on hiatus for a bit, and after his partner Big Boi just released his album under the moniker Sir Lucious Left Foot called The Son of Chico Dusty, maybe Andre 3K is getting a bit frisky himself. On this single that is rumored to appear on Young Jeezy’s new album, Andre revisits the matrimonial theme that he discussed on his verse on UGK’s “International Player’s Anthem.” In his trademark post-everything style that’s two parts blues, one part spoken word, and one part double-time rappin’, Andre 3000 shows why he’s still one of the most technical rhyme stylists. The track uses a sample that Kanye lifted for Twista’s “Overnight Celebrity”–Lenny Williams’ “Cause I Love You”–and the instrumental portion at the end of this leak will probably be the launching point for Jeezy’s verse.
