Milan Fashion Week: Fendi Bags Autumn 2011

For most fashion lovers, Fendi bags and furs are always high on the covet list. For Autumn, the flat-front remains the bag silhouette du jour, while furs take on the relaxed appearance of a robe one might throw on while entertaining good friends. It’s an equation that’s turned on its head by the fur itself which is anything but laid back, but rather bold and very rock ‘n’ roll. More on the next page.

Air Jordan VII (7) Retro – Bordeaux

The longer an original Air Jordan goes without a retro, the more desirable it becomes. In the case of the Air Jordan VII (7) Retro in the Bordeaux colorway, it’s been 19 years since they saw the light of day and sneaker fans have been eagerly waiting ever since. The reasons are varied, as they have a striking black and graphite upper punctuated by Bordeaux hints on the heel tab and Jumpman on the collar. With a multicolored tongue indicative of the era’s more aggressive fashion tendencies, this Air Jordan VII retro model will release to long lines in April, but if you can’t wait that long, get to KicksCrew now to see if they have any sizes left for pre-sale and watch the heads snap as you wear a crisp pair of shoes that hasn’t seen the light of day in almost two decades.

Koenigsegg Agera R – Speed Racer Inspired Custom Edition

In the stodgy club of “cars cost more than some nations’ GDP”, the Koenigsegg Agera certainly stands out.  In addition to it being from the socially conscious Sweden (at least usually), the car recently took home Top Gear’s Hyper Car of the Year Award, along with a Medusa-like bust of show host Jeremy Clarkson.  Now comes another variant, the Koenigsegg Agera R.  To debut on the floors of Geneva Auto Show tomorrow, the 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 generates 1,115 horsepower, 885 lb-ft torque on biofuels (very Swedish like), or 940 horsepower, 811 lb-ft torque on regular gasoline.  Customized for an avid skier, the model on display will feature a one of the kind carbon fiber roof case by Thule for skis stowaway, swappable with a regular carbon fiber roof unit.  It turns out the proud owner is also a Speed Racer fan and requested the car maker to paint his new purchase in the color scheme of the Mach 5. Go Speed Racer Go!
