Incase for Andy Warhol Collection

Incase will be introducing a new Andy Warhol Collection this Spring season. The collection consists of two key motives, the banana and a camouflage pattern, both coming on laptop cases, iPhone cases and iPad cases. This continuous collaboration will use iconic imagery from the artist every season and present new product. 2011 Saab PhoeniX Concept

One of the anticipated unveilings at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show was Saab’s PhoeniX Concept. According to Saab head designer Jason Castriota, “The PhoeniX establishes a new reference point for the future of Saab product design. It symbolizes a renaissance of the innovative spirit and passion that drove Saab to build its first car. We’re now taking the visual DNA forward with what we call ‘aeromotional’ design, adding emotion, power and fluidity. This design aesthetic will shape and differentiate future models in the Saab portfolio.”

Yesterday morning, March 5 at dawn, National Geographic Channel and a team of scientists, engineers, and two world-class balloon pilots successfully launched a 16' X 16' house 18' tall with 300 8' colored weather balloons from a private airfield east of Los Angeles, and set a new world record for the largest balloon cluster flight ever attempted. The entire experimental aircraft was more than 10 stories high, reached an altitude of over 10,000 feet, and flew for approximately one hour.The filming of the event, from a private airstrip, will be part of a new National Geographic Channel series called How Hard Can it Be?, which will premiere in fall 2011.

BRABUS 700 Biturbo – Based On Mercedes SLS AMG

There are conversions and there are conversions done by BRABUS, who specialized in pushing the performance envelope on Mercedes and its related cousins.  At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, currently on going in Switzerland, the tuning specialist took out its BRABUS 700 Biturbo for a spin.  While the BRABUS 700 Biturbo is really a Mercedes AMG SLS, the gull-wing V8 supercar made by the Tri-Star company.  Its really a new car underneath.  On the performance front, BRABUS added 2 turbochargers to the already powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine.  For optimal efficiency, BRABUS designed a left turning turbo for the left side of the massive V8 instead of the usual right-turning version, thus increase the air flow to both turbos.  The original output of 563 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque is now at 700 horsepower and 626 pound-feet of torque.  Customized interior, trunk, and titanium exhausts all equate to further weight reduction.  Now the car clocks 0-62 mph at only 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 213 mph.  The fast just got faster. 

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro ‘Jameson’ – Available

Nike SB has definitely identified a favorite pastime of some of its wearers by naming models of dunks after various kinds of alcohol. While they wouldn’t officially link the sport of skateboarding with imbibing beer or, in this case, whiskey, there are some famous models that have made that connection–the Miller High Lifes, the Tecates, the New Castle Browns, and of course the Heinekens. For this model, meant to evoke John Jameson’s legendary spirit, the upper is a mix of tumbled leather in cream and a thick suede green. The deep burgandy swoosh matches the heel tab and fat tongue logo on this remodeled version of the skate and hoops classic from Nike SB. These, along with other March releases, are available at retailers like P-Rod’s Primitive.

A Bathing Ape Giant 1st Camo Cardigan Sweat

Adding to its product selection for Spring/Summer 2011, BAPE has released this jersey sweat cardigan. Featuring a giant black, brown and green camouflage motif throughout the body and sleeve against a beige body, the sweater also has a five-button opening and two deep pockets on the front. With a contrasting beige banding around the wrists and waist, and a small logo on the cuff, the cardigan is available now though BAPE.

Nixon Falcon Leather Watch

California-based watchmakers Nixon develop new colorways in the brand’s Falcon watch for Spring 2011. Produced in a leather band version, the new seasonal design comes in three distinct options, including a silver/blue, silver/black and copper/black. All feature stainless steel construction with water resistance to 100 meters and Japanese quartz movement. Look for the timepiece now through select Nixon retailers, with a bit more insight into the design available through the brand’s website.

Nike Blazer Mid ND Canvas

A new colorway in Nike’s Blazer Mid ND Canvas makes its way to select accounts as part of the Spring 2011 line. Done up in a tonal white, the sneaker’s feature full canvas uppers with leather detailing via the swoosh and tonal embroidery. Although a dirt magnet for sure, the design adds a nice clean alternative for the upcoming spring/summer months. These are now available through Shoelosophy, as well as other Nike retailers worldwide.

Wale and Kid Cudi Collaboration in the Works

Putting their past differences away, it appears Wale and Kid Cudi have reconciled and have a new collaborative piece underway. This being reported after Cudi posted this comment via his Twitter:
